We would like to thank the leaders at Broward County Public Schools for their comittment to sustainability.
BCPS recently chose Echo Edge www.miamiecho.miami, a roof blocking alternative to lumber or steel, made from recycled tires. This choice not only saved the district time and money, it also saved trees, recycled tires and reduced CO2 emissions.
There are over 130,000 schools in the US, with millions of feet of roof blocking. What if every school district made the choice to use Echo Edge when replacing the roofs at your schools?
We invite your district to follow Broward County Schools, take the Echo Edge Challenge and calculate the impact you can make on your upcoming roofing projects here: https://lnkd.in/dN28ucR
Even better if the children of every school calculated the number of trees saved, tires recycled, tons of steel not produced and CO2 emissions prevented on their very own school…
Our children deserve to be engaged. They need to see there is hope through invention, so let’s inspire them!
Local choice. Global impact.
